As part of our vision, Bethany encourages its members in their spiritual growth by providing a variety of ways to live out their faith.  We work to intentionally create ways for our church to be just and merciful to each other, our community, and the world while humbly walking with God

serving locally

Some examples of how Bethany serves our community are:

  • Distributing free food to those in need by hosting a Mobile Food Pantry every other month.  Click here to see a schedule
  • Making and providing sack lunches once a week during the summer for the Holland Youth Connections Program-a partnership between Escape Ministries and the City of Holland to provide employment to at-risk teens
  • Occasional collection drives of needed items for area ministries
  • Arranging volunteer opportunities at local agencies for our congregation to participate in

For more information about any of these opportunities, contact Kate Kern at

friday night chill

Join us for a laid back evening of food and fellowship around the campfire.  We get together in the yard by the Activities Building most Friday nights during the summer at 6pm (starting June 8).  Everyone is invited.  There is a playset for kids, yard games and basketball for those who want to play, or just sit and unwind after a busy week.  If you have any questions, contact Kate Kern at

The dates for the summer are:

June 8, 15, 29

July 6, 20, 27

August 10, 17
