AN EXPRESSION OF

GOD'S LOVE FOR THE WORLD

As part of our vision, Bethany encourages its members in their spiritual growth by providing a variety of ways to live out their faith.  We work to intentionally create ways for our church to be just and merciful to each other, our community, and the world while humbly walking with God

serving locally

Some examples of how Bethany serves our community are:

  • Distributing free food to those in need by hosting a Mobile Food Pantry every other month.  Click here to see a schedule
  • Making and providing sack lunches once a week during the summer for the Holland Youth Connections Program-a partnership between Escape Ministries and the City of Holland to provide employment to at-risk teens
  • Occasional collection drives of needed items for area ministries
  • Arranging volunteer opportunities at local agencies for our congregation to participate in

For more information about any of these opportunities, contact Kate Kern at service@bethanycrc.com

friday night chill

Join us for a laid back evening of food and fellowship around the campfire.  We get together in the yard by the Activities Building every Friday night during the summer at 6pm (starting June 9).  Everyone is invited.  There is a playset for kids, yard games and basketball for those who want to play, or just sit and unwind after a busy week.  If you have any questions, contact Kate Kern at service@bethanycrc.com

Refugee care

Bethany church has sponsored refugee families for resettlement in the past and is starting the process again.  We have been connected with a family from Puerto Rico who needs to relocate after Hurricane Maria and is arriving on Nov. 9!  We are currently collecting items needed to furnish a home for them.   Please click on the link below to sign up to donate needed items.
